Virtual Math Class
Hi guys,
As promised, here are your virtual lessons for each day this
week.
I expect that you will work through each lesson AS A GROUP,
unless for some reason you have to return to the classroom. I
have given Mrs. Sargent a printout of the lessons for each of
you to use. Here are my expectactions:
- DO NOT work ahead. But do the homework EVERY DAY. The knowledge
from each lesson will be needed in the next one.
- IN ADDITION to these lessons, this week I want you to begin
a list of all the vocabulary words and formulas in this chapter.
You can type the list if you want, or if that's not possible
just write it. If you finish a lesson and its homework and extra
credit, work on this list for the rest of the class period.
- ALL of the assignments will be due at the beginning of class
on Monday. We will take Monday to correct the work and talk about
any problems you may have had.
- If you follow along with the lesson, you shouldn't have much
trouble. I wrote them out just the way I would have said them
in class.
- Please help each other as much as you can. If one person
understands the work, please offer to teach the rest of the group
how to do it. I think by now you know how to help each other
without giving away all the answers.
- Please stay on task and keep the noise level low. It would
be really awful if irresponsible behavior caused you to have
to go back to the classroom without computers and work alone
for the whole week!
See you Monday,
Miss G.
Tuesday (8.5 - Trapezoids)
