A WebQuest is a special kind of project that you work on using the Internet. I have kept this one very simple, just to get you used to how it works. There are six pages: the Introduction, Task, Process, Resources, Evaluation, and Conclusion. There is a menu on each page to make it easy to move around. This page is the Introduction, which tells you a little about what you'll be doing.
There are two important things to remember on every WebQuest:
Now.... what is the Internet, anyway? We all know it's really cool, but do we really know how to talk about it? In this Quest you'll learn some facts about the Internet and a few of the words we use when talking about it. You'll also learn about Internet safety and our school's Acceptable Use Policy (that thing you had to have your parents sign before you could go online).
