Place images in a webpage.
You need:
To know where your images are,
and to have them all in the same folder.
The open webpage that you're working on.
WARNING: When you create a webpage with pictures, you have to save the page in the SAME folder where the pictures are!!! Also, you CANNOT move the location of the pictures or the pages after they have been saved.
Method #1: Use tables to organize.
1. Click on the Table button at
the top of the screen.
2. In the window that appears set both the rows and columns to
1. Then click OK.
3. Click on the edge of the box to resize it to the approximate
size of your picture. You can always change this again later.
4. Choose "Object ---> Image..." from the Insert
menu.
5. Locate your image and double-click it.
6. Now resize the table to fit the image better, if necessary.
Method #2: Quick Drag-and-Drop.
1. Open your page.
2. Open the folder containing your images. (You may need to resize
your page for a minute so you can see the Desktop.)
3. Position the page and the folder so you can see both of them
on the screen.
4. Locate the picture you want to use. Drag it onto your webpage.
5. Move the picture around until you have it where you want it.
Notice that you can use the justification buttons to keep it centered,
on the right side, or on the left side.
